7. The Rainy Season
The rainy season starts in India in early July and continues upto September. It
comes as a great relief from excessive heat of summer. Birds, animals, plants and
human beings, all welcome the rainy season because it gives them the much
needed relief. The sky presents a beautiful scene. The clouds of different shades
move in the sky and look very nice. The trees get covered with new leaves. New
grass grows in the dry fields and they look like a turf of green velvet. When it
drizzles for several days, the roads, however, become muddy. Rivers, ponds and
ditches are filled with water.
8. The Person I Like Most
Of all the people in the world, I like my dear mother the most. When I see how my
mother behaves towards my father, brothers, sisters and me, I am filled with pride.
In everything that she does, there is a touch of love. She cooks very tasty food. She
wakes up first in the morning and gives attention towards all of us. If anyone in the
family is ill, she is the one who is the most worried. Such care and love no one in
the world can give to me. For these reasons my mother will always be the dearest
person to me.
9. My Favourite Teacher
My favourite teacher is Shalini Madam. She is my class teacher, too. She is a strict
teacher but she is also very caring by nature. She is very disciplined and punctual.
She does all her works and projects related to the class at the right time without
getting late. I like her very much as she adopts very easy ways to teach us good
things. She teaches us English. She also teaches us to share things with others. I like
her very much.
