G Before only some proper nouns such as names of rivers, mountains, seas, oceans,
deserts, famous books, certain countries and geographical features.

G Before superlative degree of adjectives, some uncountable nouns and the names of
musical instruments.

G Before adjectives that are used as noun (subjects).

Position of the Articles
G Before an adjective in case a noun is qualified by an adjective; as, a black jacket, a
young man, a red umbrella, a wild animal, an ominous bird, a dense forest.
Here a and an are determined by sound of adjectives and not the sound of nouns.
G An article comes before a noun; as,
a girl, a tree, an owl, an umbrella, the cattle, the lion, the Taj, etc.
