G    Adjectives which show possession are called possessive adjectives            .
                  Read the following examples:

                       1.  Her    dress was new.
                       2.  Your    books are in your    bag.

             Attributive and Predicative Use of Adjectives

             G    If  the  adjective  is  used  before  its  antecedent  (noun),  it  is  called  attributive  use  of
                  adjective.

             G  If  the  adjective  is  used  after  its  antecedent  (noun),  it  is  called  predicative  use  of
                  adjective.

             Read the following examples:
                  1.  She has a sweet      voice. (attributive use)

                       Her voice is sweet    . (predicative use)
                  2.  It is a big  animal.  (attributive use)

                       The animal is big   . (predicative use)

             G    Proper Adjectives is derived from a proper noun.
