             Letters are the most conventional way of communication with those who are far away
             from  us.  A  letter  is  written  to  communicate  information,  ideas,  suggestions,  requests,
             complaints, etc.

             There are two types of letters –

                   Formal Letters                     Informal Letters

                                                         Formal Letters

             Formal Letters are official letters.

             1.  They  can  be  letters  to  educational  or  other  institutions  expressing  grievances  or
                   responding to them.
             2.  They can be business letters for making enquiries and placing orders.

             3.  They can be letters to editors of newspapers to express opinion or to create public
                   awareness or to draw the attention of concerned authorities.

             A formal letter is written in a specific format. It is –
