Computer is an electronic device that makes our work easier. It runs on

electricity. We use computers everywhere – at school, at home, at the doctor’s
clinic and the general stores. It is important to know the main parts of the
computer. The monitor is the screen that displays words and pictures. When

you type on a keyboard, your words appear on the monitor. If you want a
paper copy, you use a printer to print the words or pictures. Some computers
use diskettes to save work and others use CDs, which look the same as the one
