We can send letters to our relatives who are very far from us. Writing a letter is an
art. It is a way of communication in written form.

Application is also a form of letter but in a formal manner. There is a format of
writing letter.

Look at the format given below. You will understand how to write a letter:

1. Start with the date .

3. Why are you writing a letter?
a) Introduce your topic.

b) Give reason and support.

c) Write a concluding statement.

4. End with a closing .
