             Verbs that refer to the present time are said to be in the present tense.




                  Imagine this is your usual routine. Fill in suitable expressions and verbs.

             G    Uses of Simple Present Tense.
                  It is used —

                  ·    to talk about things in general. It means not about something happening now,
                       but about something happening all the time.

                  ·    to express natural qualities / processes and professional activities.

                  ·    to express scientific facts or permanent truths.

                  ·    in proverbs, which have the force of permanent truths.
