of us. There are different types
of houses in different regions.
Let us learn about different
types of houses.

Need of a House

A house is a useful place. It keeps us safe from heat, cold, rain, wild

animals and thieves. In olden times, men lived on trees and in caves. As
time passed, he learnt to build houses.

My house

A house is made up of bricks, cement, steel, iron, mud etc. We use these
materials to make a house. A house becomes a home when the family

members live in it with of lots of love and care. I stay with my family in
East Patel Nagar. It is a pucca house with a living room, a drawing room,

two bedroom and a kitchen. My house is filled with my family’s love and
affection. It is the best place for me. I love my sweet home.

Types of Houses

Kutcha House

A kutcha house is made of wood, mud and straw.

It is called a hut and it can be easily broken and
blown away by storm, rain, etc.
