Converting Paise into Rupees

To convert paise into rupees
we divide the amount of paise by 100.

100 paise = (100 ÷ 100) rupee = ` 1 or 1 rupee

400 paise = (400 ÷ 100) rupees = 4 rupees

800 paise = (800 ÷ 100) rupees = 8 rupees

First method of converting paise into rupees

680 paise = 600 paise + 80 paise

= (600 ÷ 100) paise + 80 paise

= ` 6 and 80 paise = ` 6.80
