3.  If both the numbers have the same digits at the hundreds and the

                  tens place, then check the digits at the ones.

                  For example :         652  <  655,  because  655  has  more  ones  than  652,

                                         though both have six hundreds and five tens.



             Remember,  the  open  end  (open  mouth)  of  the  symbols  <  and  >

             always opens towards a bigger number.



            Ascending and Descending Order


            Observe these numbers carefully.


                                             113, 124, 136, 150, 164, 196

            All these numbers are arranged in ascending or increasing order.

            These numbers are written from the smallest to the biggest number.


            Now, observe these numbers.

            All  these  numbers  are  arranged  in  descending  or  decreasing  order.

            These numbers are written from the biggest to the smallest number.
