Comparison of Numbers

Following is the method given to compare the number :

1. First, check if one number has more hundreds than the other.

For example : 652 < 701, because 701 has more hundreds than

652.

2. If both the numbers have the same digits at the hundreds place,

then check the tens digits.

For example : 652 > 639, because 652 has more tens than 639,

though both have six hundreds.
