C. Develop a readable story from the given outlines.

1. An old lady — very badly wounded her eyes in a serious road accident — an eye
specialist was called in — he started treating her — but at the same time started
removing all household articles — a visit everyday — treatment went for 6
months — bandage of the eyes removed — the lady pretended not to see at all
— her eyes were still not fully cured — the doctor returned everything — took
only his fees from the lady.
2. Once a horse tied outside a house — an Afghan stole it — he was caught by the
police — he was taken to a court of law — each one (the Afghan and the real
owner of the horse) claimed the horse to be his — real owner took a test and
threw his shawl on the horse’s face — asked the Afghan — which eye of the
horse is blind — Afghan guessed it to be left — the real owner removed the
shawl — no eye is defective — Afghan failed the test — punished — sent to jail
— dishonesty never pays.
3. Helen and Salma — two friends and neighbours — went to a vegetable market
— saw a huge pumpkin — Salma said that she saw a pumpkin ten times bigger
than this last year when she went to grandmother’s place — Helen replied that
pumpkin must have been no big — she also said that her grandfather made a
pot bigger than her house — Salma was confused — Helen replied to cook your
pumpkin Salma realized her mistake.—
