An e-mail is a short form of electronic mail. These days, writing emails is preferred to
writing letters. Sending an email is simpler, cheaper and faster than sending a letter.

Following points should be remembered while writing an e-mail:

G Only e-mail address is required. Postal address and date need not be mentioned.

G The subject line includes the main point of the message.
G An e-mail can start with salutations like dear, hello, hi or just Sir / Madam or even

                   with any such salutation.

G The message should be short and precise.
G The message can be divided in paragraphs if content is big.

G Bullets can be used to highlight the main points of the message.

G An e-mail can end without mentioning any subscription like yours sincerely. We can
                   simply write our name.

G Contractions and short form are acceptable.

G Writing in all capital letters should be avoided.
