What is Air?

We can feel moving air but we cannot see or touch the air. Air is a

              mixture of gases.

              Air is necessary for us.

Moving air is called wind. When wind blows gently it is known as
              breeze.

When a strong wind blows it may cause a storm.

One of the gases mixed in air is oxygen which is important for

              survival of all living things.

An astronaut and a diver also need oxygen. They carry oxygen

              cylinder with themselves.

Plants and animals also need oxygen.

Oxygen is present in water also. Fish

take that oxygen through their gills.
Fish also need oxygen for breathing.

On summer days, air may be dry and on
a rainy day air may be wet.
