Animals help us in many ways.
There are different types of animals.
In this chapter, we will learn about
animals and their uses.
Some animals can be kept at home. Such animals are called pet
animals. Dogs guard our home. Cats scare away mice.
Some animals are kept in a farm.
Cows, buffaloes, sheep, hens and
ducks are kept in a farm. They are
called farm animals.
Pet animals and farm animals
together are called domestic
animals.
Some animals live in the jungle.
These animals are called wild
animals. Lions, elephants, tigers,
zebras and giraffes live in the
jungle.
