So, perimeter   = 9 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 9 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 3 + 3
                                       = 46 m

                  So, the total cost = 46 × ` 150 = ` 6900

                  It will cost ` 6900 for fencing the park.

            Example : The edges of a bed sheet that
                             is 4 m long and 3 m wide must

                             be  stitched  with  lace.  How

                             much lace is needed ?
            Solution : To find the answer we will find

                             the perimeter of the bed sheet.

                             P  = 2 × (length + breadth)
                               = 2 × (4 + 3)

                               = 2 ×7

                               = 14 m
                             So, 14 m lace is required for the bed sheet.
