Word Problems

Example : Find the perimeter of this 9 m

fencing 1 m, how much will 3 m 3 m

it cost for fencing the park ? 2 m 2 m

Solution : We can see that this figure 3 m 3 m
has many sides of different 3 m 3 m

measures. Hence, to find the 9 m

perimeter, we will add all its
sides.
