Subtraction of 3-Digit and 4-Digit Numbers

            With Borrowing

When we have less minuend than the subtrahend, then we have to borrow
            from other digits.

Let us learn to subtract 3-digit and 4-digit numbers with borrowing.

            From tens to ones.

            Subtract.
                                                                                                               8
                                                                                                                 15
                8 9 5 800 + 90 + 5 800 + 80 + 15 8 9 5

             – 4 3 9 – 400 – 30 – 9 – 400 – 30 – 9 – 4 3 9

                                                                   400 + 50 + 6 = 456 4 5 6
