Multiplication Facts

In order property of multiplication, the order is not important. That

means, if we change the place of a number the answer will remain the

same.

According to this diagram, there are four groups.

Each group contains three dots.

So it will be 4 x 3 = 12

Therefore, 4 x 3 = 12 3 x 4 = 12

H The product of any number and zero is zero.

0 × 6 = 0 3 × 0 = 0 4 × 0 = 0

H The product of any number and one is the number itself.

8 × 1 = 8 6 × 1 = 6 5 × 1 = 5
