             A non-finite verb has no subject and hence it is not limited by number

             or person.




                  Fill in the blanks with the correct infinitive form of the verbs in brackets.

             A non-finite verb can be divided into three groups. These are:

                  Infinitive               Participle                Gerund

             G  The infinitive are called to-verbs      .
                  Read the following examples:

                       1.  I want to buy     a good music system.
                       2.  He is going to submit      his assignment.

             G  With the following verbs, we use the verb + to-infinitive:

                  Read the following examples:
                       1.  The shopkeeper agreed to give          us 20% discount.

                       2.  He refused to accept       the award.
