G Adjectives of number tell us how many persons or things are there.

1. I have two pencils in my geometry box.
2. We are five members in our family.
Degree of Comparison
Adjectives have three degrees of comparison.
G We use the single adjective when no comparison is made in positive degree .
G We use adjective + er or more + adjective when a comparison is made
between two persons or things in comparative degree .
G We use adjective + est or most +adjective when a comparison is made
between more than two persons or things in the superlative degree .
Read the following examples:
1. Ruhaani is an intelligent girl.
2. Priyanka is more intelligent than Ruhaani.
3. Rashmi is the most intelligent girl in the class.
