Eventually, the doctor took the old woman to the court to get her to pay his dues.

In the court, the old woman came with this defence. “It was agreed that I would
pay him a fee if he cured me. And he promised to charge nothing if he failed. Now,
he says I am cured, but I say that my eyes are worse than ever. And I can prove

this.”

“Before my treatment, I could see well enough to be aware that my house
contained furniture and other things. But now the doctor says I am cured. But the
fact is this, I cannot see anything at all in my house.” Then, the doctor felt ashamed

at what he did.

Moral: Tit for Tat.
