We all love to read and listen to stories. These stories not only entertain us but
             also teach us useful lessons.

                                                  1. The Clever Fox

Once a fox was walking through the forest.

He had a good meal. He was very happy.
On the way he saw a well. He looked into it.

He saw his image in the water. Suddenly, he
fell into the well. There was plenty of water

in the well. He tried to come out. But could
not jump up. At that time a goat came

there. He looked into it. “What are you
doing there?” the goat asked the fox. “I am
drinking this water. It is very sweet and tasty,”

the fox said. Foolish goat jumped into the
well. She wanted to drink that sweet and tasty water. At once the fox got on top

of goat and jumped out of the well. He thanked the goat and walked away.

             Moral: Never trust anyone.

                                                     2. The Blue Jackal

Once, a jackal came to a village from

the forest. He was thirsty. He looked for
water. He saw a big tub. He jumped

into it. The blue dye in the tub turned
the jackal’s body blue. He returned to

the forest. He felt proud of having a
beautiful colour. He called all the other

animals. The jackal told them that the
Goddess of the forest gave him blue
