Words that are used to show the relation of a noun or a pronoun to other
words in a sentence are called prepositions . They tell the position, location,
movement and time.
Read the following examples:
The mouse is running into the hole.
The boy is behind the bush.
The man is taking rest under the tree.
The boy is sitting on the sofa.
Some more prepositions:

between among near under over
for beside against before beneath
round towards until from since
