A noun is said to be singular          if it names one      person or thing.

             Read the following examples:













                          girl                                kite                            bat

             A noun is said to be plural         if it names more than one           person or thing.

             Read the following examples:













                         girls                                kites                               bats

             There are many ways in which the nouns can be changed from singular to
             plural.

             G  Simply add an -s.
