There are four kinds of gender of a noun.

                   Masculine Gender                        Feminine Gender


                   Common Gender                           Neuter Gender


             G     Nouns are said to be masculine             if they denote a male.

                   Read the following examples:

                   1.  His    uncle   is a teacher.


                   2.  Manik      is a good boy.


             G     Nouns are said to be feminine             if they denote a female.
                   Read the following examples:


                   1.  His aunt      is a housewife.

                   2.  Yashika     is a good girl.


             G     There is also a common gender which denotes words that could refer to
                   male as well as female.

                   Read the following examples:


                   1.  We must obey our parents             .

                   2.  Students      are going for a picnic.


             G     Nouns are said to be neuter gender               if they denote a non-living thing.

                   Read the following examples:

                   1.  I have a video game           at home.

                   2.  My father bought a new bag              .
