air, water, soil, etc. We should
conserve them.

Let us study how can we conserve
them.

Natural Resources

Resources which are given to us by nature are called natural resources.
For example: air, water, soil, etc. these things are available in the

environment we need and depend on them in order to live.
Man-Made Resources

Resources which are made by man like bricks, clothes, steel, etc. are call
man-made resources. All man-made resources are made from natural

resources. So we should use natural resources carefully.
Types of Resources

Air

All living things cannot live without air. Oxygen in the air is needed to

stay alive for all living things on this planet.
Water

It is very important for us. We drink water available in the form of
potable water. Life is not possible without water. The earth is the only

planet that has water. Water is needed for drinking and for various
