Community Helpers

People who provide services to us are called community helpers. We
pay them for their services. Tailor, carpenter, cobbler are community

helpers. Some others are– Sweeper who sweeps the streets, mechanic
who repairs car, green-grocer who sells vegetables.

In India, most people live in villages

and their profession is agriculture.

Leisure Time

The time when we relax ourselves is called leisure time. The work that is
done in leisure time is our hobby. Example: singing, painting, dancing,
playing, etc. and it cannot be called an occupation. A balance between

working time and leisure time should be maintained.

Social Workers

Some people serve the community because they enjoy helping others
and improving their community. They do not get paid to perform

community services but they give their valuable time. They are called
social workers. Example: Mother Teresa, Anna Hazare, etc.
