So, Birju hid himself in the field one night. He wondered : was surprised
landed : came down after flying
saw a white elephant flying down. It started
excited : feeling happy
eating the sugarcane. “A flying white elephant!
Where is it from?” Birju wondered . He
held on to Airavat’s tail. When Airavat flew
back in the morning, Birju flew back with
him, holding on to his tail.
Airavat landed in heaven. Birju looked
around with wide eyes. It was so beautiful.
Lovely flowers, sweet fruits, shady trees
.......... Birju was excited to see the place.
Birju went back to the earth with
Airavat that night. He went home and told
his wife Gomti about heaven. He said,
“Come with me and see the place.”
