Parts of Photoshop Window

Let’s learn about the parts of Photoshop window.

Menu Bar Option Bar Palette

Option Bar
It displays the various options available with the currently selected tool.

Tools Panel

The Tools panel at the left side of the screen is where you’ll select different tools for editing
your images. Once you have chosen a tool, you can use it with your current file.

Palettes

It is available at the right side of the Photoshop window. It contains various palettes to help in
monitoring and modifying the properties of an image.
It presents in the center of PS where all the photo editing takes place, like whatever photo
you want to edit will open in this drawing canvas window where you can edit it with the help
of various tools available in Photoshop.

Application Bar

It is located at the top of Photoshop window. It contains a menu bar that provides commands
for performing various tasks in Photoshop. It also contains three control buttons— Minimize,
Restore and Maximize.
