E-mail
E-mail is an electronic message sent from one device to another. With e-mail,
we can send and receive messages with attachments, such as photos and
documents. We can also send music, video clips etc.
An electronic mail (e-mail) is sent through the internet. It is delivered to the
recipients at the destination within a few seconds.
An e-mail is the fastest way of sending and receiving written messages
available for general use. Some of the benefits of communicating through
e-mails are as follows :
8 We can send and receive messages from anywhere across the world.
8 We can send a message to more than one recipient at the same time.
8 It is an inexpensive way of communication. It costs less than even a
phone call.
8 It allows us to send pictures, photographs, audio/video files etc. with
our messages.
The picture, photos etc. sent with an e-mail are known as attachments.
