Time is measured by a watch or a clock.
Every clock or watch has two needles. Hour hand is the shortest needle and
the minute hand is longer needle.
A clock or watch also has, the third needle. It is the thinnest and the largest
one. It is called the second hand . But, we measure the time with the help of
only two hands— hour hand and minute hand.

The second hand completes one round on the dial in 1 minute.
Before reading the time in a watch, see the following table for time
measurement.
60 seconds (sec.) = 1 minute (min.)
60 minutes = 1 hour (hr.)
24 hours = 1 day
7 days = 1 week
4 weeks = 1 month (about)
12 months = 1 year
3600 seconds = 1 hour
52 weeks = 1 year
365/366 days = 1 year
