G Negative Sentences
We can either use (has / have + not + got).
Read the following examples:
1. I have not got a new bicycle.
2. He hasn’t got many balls.
Or we can use (don’t / doesn’t + have).
Read the following examples:
1. I don’t have a new bicycle.
2. He doesn’t have many balls.
G Interrogative Sentences
Read the following examples:
Have you got a new bicycle? Has he got many balls?
What have you got ? What has he got ?
Do you have a new bicycle? Does he have many balls?
What do you have ? What does he have ?
2. Simple Past Tense: We use ‘had’ (usually without got).
Read the following examples:
· He had enough money to buy clothes.
· Amit had time to visit the Taj.
G Negative and Interrogative Sentences are formed by using did . We use root
form of the verb with ‘did’.
Read the following examples:
1. He didn’t (did not) have enough money to buy clothes.
2. Did he have enough money to buy clothes?
3. Simple Future Tense: We use will / shall have .
Read the following examples:
1. Next year I will have my own house.
2. He will have all the facilities.
G Negative Sentences: We put not between will and have . ‘Will not’ is often
shortened as ‘won’t’.
Read the following examples:
1. She will not (won’t) have any trouble.
2. I will not have that dish.
