A singular noun names one person, place or thing.
A plural noun names more than one person, place or thing.
We generally make plurals from singulars by adding /-s -es .
Read the following singular and plural nouns:
Singular Plural
bottle bottles
burger burgers
ball balls
boy boys
Read the following nouns aloud:
fox glass watch box
When we change the above words to the plural form, we add -es .
fox + es = foxes
glass + es = glasses
