We should all know the directions.
We can locate the different directions

by the sun.
Sun rises in the east and sets in the
west.

Let us study more about this.

Locating a place means to find the place where one has to go. While

explaining the way to a place, people often make use of landmarks. A

landmark can be a big structure, like a school, temple or even a small
thing like a tree.

Directions

Directions help us to locate places. The four main directions are— East,
West, North and South. We all know that the sun rises in the east and

sets in the west. If you face the rising sun, that is the east. West lies

behind you. North is to your left and south is to your right.
