Summer
It is the hottest season. During this
season, the sun is the hottest and
brightest. The air is warm and dry in
this season. The days are longer and

During summer season, we like to stay
indoors under fans and air conditioner.
We wear light cotton clothes and
enjoy cold drinks. Fruits like melons and mangoes are popular in
summers.
In summers, some people go to the hill stations as it is cool there.
Monsoon
This season is also known as rainy season. It is the wettest time of
the year. In the sky, there are dark clouds during this season. Cool,
wet winds called monsoons, blow from the sea. These winds bring
heavy rain.
To keep ourselves dry, we use
raincoats and umbrellas. At some
places, heavy rains cause floods.
The monsoon is very important
for us. The rain is important for
growing crops. The crops dry up
if it does not rain.
