We all know that some days are
rainy, some are sunny and some
are windy.
In this chapter, we will learn
about different seasons.
Weather
There are many different layers
of air around the earth. These
layers are known as atmosphere.
Sometimes, the air is hot and
sometimes it is cool.
The condition of the air of a
place at a particular time is
called weather. The weather of
the place is not same everyday.
It can be cool, hot, sunny,
windy, cold, rainy or stormy.
When the same weather continues for a long time it is called a
season.
In India, there are three main seasons— summer, winter and
monsoon.
