Changing Width of Column
There are two methods of changing the
width of a column.
1. Use of Format tab : This method is
used to change the width of several
columns at once.
8 Select the column.
8 On the Home tab, in the Cells
group, click Format .
8 Under Cell size , click Column
Width.
8 In the column width box, type the
value that you want.
8 Click on the OK button.
2. Use of Cursor : This method is
useful when you have to change the
width of a single column.
8 Click on the right or left border of
the column header.
8 The cursor will change to .
8 Now, click and drag to increase or
decrease the column width.
8 Once you get the desired width,
release the mouse.
