Conversion of Time
Example : Convert 5 minutes into seconds.
Solution : 1 minute = 60 seconds
5 minutes = 5 × 60 = 300 seconds
Example : Convert 8 minutes 32 seconds into seconds.
Solution : 1 minute = 60 seconds
8 minutes 32 seconds = 8 × 60 seconds + 32 seconds
= 480 seconds + 32 seconds = 512 seconds
