We can also add three 1-digit numbers by other methods.

Example : Add 3, 3 and 2.

Method - 1

First, add 3 and 3.
3 6

Now, add the
+ 3 + 2
sum of 3 and 3
6 8
with 2.

Hence, 3 + 3 + 2 = 8

Method - 2

Step 1 : Write the numbers horizontally.

Step 2 : Add the first two numbers and then add the

sum with the third number.

3 + 3 + 2 = 6 + 2 = 8

Hence, 3 + 3 + 2 = 8
