The words spoken by a person are called the speech of that person.
Put the ant’s and the grasshopper’s words into indirect speech using a
suitable verb. You can choose from the following:
add, advise, answer, argue, ask, invite, reply, refuse, say, tell, warn
Where are you going The grasshopper asked an ant where
with that big load? he was going with that big load.
We’re taking these
seeds to our anthill.
Come and have fun
with me.
No, I think you should
come and work with us.
It’s going to be long
winter with lots of snow.
I have all the food
that I need right now.
Winter is not here yet,
and when it comes, I
am sure I will be able
