Punctuation is the use of symbols such as full stops, commas or question
marks to divide written words into sentences and clauses.

Look at the following punctuation marks:

. Fullstop ! Exclamation mark ? Question mark

, Comma “ ” Speech marks ; Semicolon

: Colon ’ Apostrophe ... Ellipsis

Read the punctuation poem and enjoy:
. . Fullstop means stop.

Question mark means you are asking a question.

Comma means take a little break.

Exclamation mark means you are excited. ! !
