expressing a relation to another word.
Over under in on behind, , , , etc. are some prepositions.
Look at the pictures and read the sentences:
The cat is inside the hat. The cat is behind the tree.
The cat is jumping over the bed. The cat is under the table.
The cat is on the chair. The cat is between the shoes.
