48 Maths Tricks
Tricks are the cunning acts mostly performed for entertainment or amusement.
A few Maths tricks have been given. Try it on your own.
GETTING 2 AS THE ANSWER
Step 1 : Think of any number. (Say 8)
Step 2 : Multiply the number by 3. (8 × 3 = 24)
Step 3 : Add 6 to the result you got in Step 2. (24 + 6 = 30)
Step 4 : Now, divide the result you got in Step 3 by 3. (30 ÷ 3 = 10)
Step 5 : Subtract the number you thought from the result of Step 4. (10 – 8 = 2)
You will get 2 as your answer.
AGE CALCULATION
Step 1 : Write your age. (Say 14)
Step 2 : Multiply the first digit of the age with 5. (1 × 5 = 5)
Step 3 : Add 3 to the result you got in Step 2. (5 + 3 = 8)
Step 4 : Double the result you got in Step 3. (8 × 2 = 16)
Step 5 : Add the second digit of the age to the result you got in Step 4.
(16 + 4 = 20)
Step 6 : Now, subtract 6 from the result you got in Step 5. (20 – 6 = 14)
You will get the answer as your age. (Here, 14)
GETTING 5 AS THE ANSWER
Step 1 : Think of any three digit number. (Say 242)
Step 2 : Add 7 to the number. (242 + 7 = 249)
Step 3 : Multiply the result you got in Step 2 by 2. (249 × 2 = 498)
Step 4 : Subtract 4 from the result you got in Step 3. (498 – 4 = 494)
Step 5 : Divide the result you got in Step 4 by 2. (494 ÷ 2 = 247)
Step 6 : Subtract the number you thought from the result you got in
Step 5. (247 – 242 = 5)
You will get 5 as your answer.
