We can see different types of
plants all around us, some are
big while some are small.

Let us study about them.

Plants are living things. They are of various types and of many sizes.

Most plants are green in colour but someone are yellow, red or purple.
Types of Plants

Trees

They are big, tall and strong plants with thick, brown, woody stem

called trunk. They live for many years. Example: neem, gulmohar,
mango, banyan, etc.

Shrubs

They are small bushy plants. They are smaller than trees and

have hard and thin stem. They live for many years. Example:
rose, hibiscus, cotton, etc.
