Huts are examples of Kutcha Houses.
Pucca Houses
In towns and cities most of the houses are
made up of bricks, cement and steel. These
houses are called pucca houses. Pucca
houses are permanent houses. They are very
strong and can last for a long time. Pucca
houses have single- storey or multi-storeys.
Bungalows, flats and apartments are
permanent houses. People living in these
houses stay for a long time.
Temporary Houses
Some people move from one place to another. They live in
temporary houses like igloo, caravan, tent and houseboat.
In Assam, people live in stilt houses. Stilt houses are huts built on bamboo
poles.
