Conjunction
A conjunction is a word which joins sentences or clauses together. A conjunction is merely
a connecting word. It performs no other function in the sentence.
There are two types of conjunctions. These are:
Coordinating conjunction: It joins two clauses of equal importance.
For example:
and, but, as well as, both ... and, yet, or, either ... or, etc.
Subordinating conjunction: It joins a main clause with a subordinating clause.
For example:
whether, if, while, when, though, since, before, etc.
