Everyone is eating dinner
but, little Krishna is not.
He does not eat food.
He does not eat fruits.
He does not eat sweets.
He does not want to eat
rice or puris.
He says, “I do not want to
eat puris, Maa .”
“Eat sweets, Krishna,” says
the mother. maa : word in Hindi used to call mother
baba : word in Hindi used to call father
“No, I don’t want to.”
“Eat fruits Krishna,” says Baba .
“No, no, I don’t want to eat,” says Krishna.
“Then what does our dear want to eat?”
asks Maa.
“Tell me my son, what do you want,” says
Maa.
He points to the moon.
“I want the moon,” says Krishna.
Little Krishna wants the moon.
Mother thinks.
Father thinks.
