information. In this network, the computers are connected through
cables or any other devices.

the Internet can easily access
the information available on
other computers.
Uses of Internet
Internet is used for many purposes. Let us look at them:
Shopping : Whatever we want to buy, we can find
through the shopping websites on the
internet.
Environment : There are many different ways that we can
choose to spend our time online by:
8 playing online games
8 listening to music
8 reading online books
8 keeping up-to-date with the news etc.
Communication : The Internet has made communication very
easy. We can talk with our loved ones within
a few seconds who are living in other country.
Research : Internet is the most interesting place to
research information for a project. We can
search for any information about any topic
on the internet.
